He previously served as Deputy Chief of the National Security and Cybercrimes Section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. He clerked for the Honorable Joel M. Flaum of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Greg Pearson is a Senior Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Commercial Litigation Branch, Fraud Section, where he has worked for over 20 years. He primarily handles False Claims Act cases, including investigations and litigation. He has a nationwide practice that covers matters involving many federal agencies including the Department of Defense, the Department of the Interior, the Postal Service, and the General Services Administration.
Shoba Pillay is Partner and Co-Chair Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice at Jenner & Block LLP. She is a corporate crisis manager with extensive trial and investigations experience who leads complex and high-stakes internal and government-facing investigations, and advises clients on mitigating and responding to cybersecurity threats and national security risks and developing robust regulatory compliance programs. As a former federal prosecutor in the US Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Illinois, she has significant experience with complex investigations and prosecutions involving cybercrime, complex fraud, human trafficking, theft of trade secrets, terrorism, espionage, and export control and international sanctions violations. Due her technical expertise and significant investigation experience, Shoba was the court-appointed Examiner in the bankruptcy of digital asset lender Celsius Network LLC.
Kelly Greening is Associate General Counsel at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she advises on privacy, security, and other regulatory matters. She previously served as Deputy Chief of Financial Crimes and Health Care Fraud Coordinator at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. She clerked in the Staff Attorney’s Office for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
