The Rising Professionals Symposium was designed primarily for law students and younger lawyers (under 40 or with less than 10 years of experience) who desire to elevate their careers and expand their networks across the Seventh Circuit. The program will be a premier professional development and networking opportunity for younger federal practitioners in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Attendees will attend in-person presentations regarding legal writing, trial practice, and business development. The keynote address will be delivered by the Honorable Michael Y. Scudder, Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

The Symposium will conclude with a networking reception that will begin at 5:00 pm. All members of the Federal Bar Association within the Seventh Circuit, including federal judges, experienced federal practitioners, and younger lawyers are encouraged to join the rising professionals at the networking reception.

Event registration will be complimentary for current law students and recent law school graduates, i.e., classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. You can register to attend the entire 3-hour Symposium or the networking reception only.
