Interviewing is an important part of being a lawyer, but many lawyers and law students have little training or experience to develop this skill.

In this session, we’ll use fictional interviews drawn from Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express to discuss how to conduct better witness interviews (there will be spoilers!).  We’ll also use real-life examples.  The session will be led by former Assistant United States Attorney and former Chicago Tribune reporter Stephen Lee, who is a board member of the FBA Chicago Chapter.
