On September 19, 2019, nearly 100 FBA members joined to learn best practices and tips for summary judgment briefing from United States District Judge Sara Ellis, United States District Judge Thomas Durkin, and United States District Judge Manish Shah.

The panel was moderated by FBA Board member Noelle Brennan. The Judges offered valuable advice on when dispositive motions should and shouldn’t be filed, how to prepare effective statements of undisputed material facts, and how to make summary judgment briefing cost-efficient for clients. Audience members also had the opportunity to meet the District’s newest District Judges, Judge Martha Pacold and Judge Steven Seeger.
