The FBA Chicago Chapter proudly co-sponsored Court Side, Impact: The Life of a Sex Trafficked Victim, jointly produced and presented by U.S. District Judge Virginia Kendall and Her Story Theater. Following a reception, the theater featured a performance portraying the personal stories, tragedies, and agonies of Chicago area trafficking victims and their families, punctuated with commentary by a fictional trafficker known as “Prime Cut” in an MC-like role. Following the performance, Judge Kendall presented a workshop on how trafficking enterprises recruit and operate, the volume of business the generate, and the laws and techniques used to counter them.
