Young Lawyers Learn Nuances of Careers in Federal Government
Over 45 young lawyers, law clerks, and law students attended Careers in Federal Government sponsored by the Young Lawyers Committee of the Federal Bar Association’s Chicago Chapter.
This event featured informative and engaging career advice from attorneys at the U.S. Department of Education, EEOC, EPA, and Department of Homeland Security. The discussion included a lively dialogue on how to get started on a career in federal government, the type of work involved, and the differences between private and government practice.
The Chicago Chapter also thanks the staff of the Everett McKinley Dirksen United States Courthouse for their hospitality in providing a forum and facilities for this event.
